How to Find a Link Building Supplier You Can Actually Trust
I have worked with a lot of SEO agencies over the years. And the number one complaint I hear is always the same. "We tried a link building vendor and got burned."
Bad links. Missed deadlines. Sites that disappeared after 3 months. Vendors who go quiet after payment.
So how do you find someone you can actually trust with your client's campaign?
Here is what I look for.
They show you real sites before you pay
Any serious vendor will share their inventory upfront. If someone is vague about where your links will go, that is a red flag.
They have a clear delivery timeline
Good vendors give you a specific timeframe and stick to it. "We deliver in 7 to 10 business days" is very different from "usually within a few weeks."
They send live link reports
After delivery you should get the exact URLs where your links are placed. No screenshots of dashboards. Actual live links you can check yourself.
They do not reuse the same sites for the same client
This one is huge. A vendor who places your client's link on the same domain twice is not protecting your client's link profile.
They are easy to reach
Not just before payment. After too. If a vendor goes quiet after you pay, that tells you everything.
The truth is a reliable link building vendor is not easy to find. But when you do find one, hold onto them. Consistency in this game is worth more than any single great link.
